The company’s MicroStrategy 10 platform provides business intelligence (BI), as well as other analytics functionality. This new MicroStrategy on AWS offering offers an optimized version. It also includes security and mobility. The platform allows functionality such as enterprise data discovery and personalized distribution capabilities, predictive analytics, and enterprise reporting. It can be accessed via optimized connectors to hundreds upon hundreds of databases and managed via dashboards. The company stated that the AWS initiative allows users to monitor, change, and maintain their platform features. It also offers AWS optimization, which allows enterprises to leverage more than 20 AWS services. This includes individual services in the compute and database, management tools and messaging, storage, and network categories. There are also tools for software development, security, and applications. Yesterday, the company announced that partners and customers can now deploy and manage the entire MicroStrategy platform using dedicated AWS infrastructure. They can also have complete control over their environment. The company also mentioned the AWS offering, which provides the following capabilities:
- Mobile productivity apps that can be customized and enabled by branded transactions. They can also be tailored to any business function.
- Administrators can use an AWS-powered portal to self-provision cloud instances of any size. They can also manage tasks and operations in real time.
- Cloud-specific RESTful APIs which allow users to create custom workflows and customize admin interfaces to automate AWS operations.
CEO Michael J.
